Sally Demaris Pratt, 77, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026, in Springfield, Missouri. Born in Harrison, Arkansas, Sally lived a life rich in service, love, and a deep devotion to those she held dear.
Sally began her career at the Assemblies of God Headquarters on May 21, 1969, starting in the Sunday School department before moving on to serve as a secretary in the Division of Treasury and later as Manager of the Name and Address department. Over her forty years there, until her retirement on July 1, 2009, she brought steady dedication and a gentle spirit to every role she held. A devoted Christian, Sally lived her faith by example, always ready with a kind word and a helping hand for anyone in need.
In 1980, Sally married her beloved husband, James (Jim) Pratt, and the two shared a devoted partnership for over three decades. In his final years, Sally cared for Jim with the same tender love she gave so freely throughout her life, until his passing in 2016.
Beyond her career, Sally found joy in baking for church events and friends, and was especially known for her beloved Martha Washingtons.
Sally’s warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by her surviving brothers, William and Joe Estep. She enters into rest reunited with her husband, Jim Pratt; her parents, Wesley and Dinah Estep; and her brother, Johnie Estep.
A graveside service will be held Monday, July 6th, at 12:00 p.m. at Hazelwood Cemetery. Her beautiful spirit lives on in the stories and memories shared by all who loved her.
