Sarah Steinshouer Gailey, was born December 28, 1947, in Springfield, MO. She went to live with the Lord on December 25, 2025 at the age of 77 years young. Sarah lived in Pleasant Hope, Tennessee, Marshfield and in Kansas City, though she adored her summers in Eagle Colorado. She graduated with the class of 1965 at Pleasant Hope High School, Sarah went on to successful careers as a seamstress and a long career at Montgomery Ward Jewelry Sales. Sarah is survived by her husband, Carl, son Joe/Tracie and granddaughter Amber. Sara is also survived by sisters: Donna, Wanda/Tom, Lela, Betty and brother Bobby/Linda, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Connie Sue, Becky, Virginia, Lila, and her brother Lloyd. A public celebration of life will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home North on Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers Sarah, supported St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
