Sargent Norris Watson, age 70, of Fair Grove, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at St. John’s Medical Center . He was born February 1, 1941, in Drumright, OK, to Wesley and Lillian (Johnston) Watson. He was a member of the AMVETS in Buffalo MO . He served in the United States Air National Guard during the Gulf War. Sargent worked thirty three years as a bricklayer, working the last twenty six years for the Tulsa Public School System. After retirement he drove a tour bus for Jefferson Bus Lines and Pace Setter . Sargent loved to camp.
He was preceded in death by his parents Wesley and Lillian Grace Watson, one half brother William Sherman, and two brothers Edward Watson and Wesley Watson . He is survived by his wife Mary Lou Watson of Fair Grove, MO, one daughter Maretta Jane Back of Sapulpa OK, one grandson John Walter Bewley of Sapulpa Ok, three sisters Dixie Getings of Tampa FL, Carol Haynes of Springfield, Missouri , and Joyce Ann Evel of Fair Grove, MO.
