Shannon Reel, age 49, of Springfield, Missouri passed away on December 8, 2020 in Mercy Hospital.
Shannon was born here in Springfield, Missouri on July 19, 1971 to parents Douglas Reel and Mary Loeb. Shannon attended and graduated from Niangua High School and worked in the health industry as a nursing assistant.
Shannon is preceded in death by her father Douglas Reel. She is survived by her daughter Ashlyn Reel, mother Mary (Lou) Holtmann, her two brothers; Shayne (Julie) Reel and Eric Deckard, sister Bobbi (Matt) Shrout, stepsisters; Patricia (Kevin) Watson and Pamela (Kevin) Scott, stepbrother Louis (Kim) Holtmann III, nieces and nephews; great- nieces and nephews; and a host of other close family and friends.
There will be a memorial visitation held on Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Greenlawn Funeral Home South. A celebration of Shannon’s life will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 10:00 am with Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
