I was very saddened to hear the news of Shannon passing. My parents and her grandparents were best friends so growing up Shannon and I spent a lot of time together I was basically considered her older sister and she didn’t have any sisters at the time. I felt she looked up to me as a mentor she would laugh at all my jokes and she would tell me some of her deepest secrets and ask me my opinion of things she was unsure of . Even though I hadn’t seen Shannon in many years I still feel a loss in my life without her.
