Sharon Kay Bell, a beloved mother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025, at the age of 72, in Willard, Missouri. She was born on August 20, 1952, in La Porte, Indiana, to Harold Alfred and Bertha Mae (Gann) Glaze. She was united in marriage and sealed December 2, 1980, to Kenny Rex Bell. She spent her life graciously nurturing her family and creating a warm and loving home.
Sharon earned her associate’s degree and dedicated herself to being a proud homemaker, where her passion for caring for others truly shined, and loved traveling with friends and family. When you were around Kenny and Sharon you “worked hard and played hard.”
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Rex Bell; her parents Harold and Bertha Glaze; a sister Nancy Wright; and two brothers: Dean and James Michael Glaze.
She is survived by her two devoted sons, Kevin and Eric and Sarah Bell; five grandsons: Blake, Colt, Levi, Austin, and Luke Bell; two sisters: Linda Mitchell and Jean Ann Archibald; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sharon’s love for her family and her unwavering support will leave a lasting legacy that will resonate through their lives.
To honor Sharon’s vibrant spirit and the joy she brought to those around her, a celebration of her life will be held with a funeral service on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Willard Ward. Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the church, allowing all to share cherished memories and stories of love and laughter that defined Sharon’s life.
Following the service, Sharon will be laid to rest at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Z Hwy, Willard, MO 65781, next to the love of her life Kenny, where her family will gather to pay their final respects.
