Sharon K. Messenger, age 75 , of Springfield passed away Friday, July 26th, 2019 at Springfield Rehabilitation & Heath Care Center .
Sharon was born March 26, 1944 in Branson, MO to Lloyd and Edith Stewart. She prided herself as a loving Mom and Nana. Sharon enjoyed reading quilting, crocheting, and sewing. She will always be remembered for her cooking and baking, especially her sugar cookies.
Survivors include her two daughters, Denise Beverly, husband Robert, and Deborah Kaiser; six grandchildren, Travis, Shannon, Ross and Laura, Aleshia, Mason, and Lexi; two great-grandchildren, Shaun and Emma; two brothers, Jimmy Stewart and wife Patti and Jerry Stewart; and a host of family and friends. Sharon was preceded in death her parents, Lloyd and Edith Stewart; five sisters, Wanda, Novella, Faye, Peggie, and Jean; and two brothers, Dean and Lewis.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm, Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Greenlawn Funeral Home South. A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held Sunday, August 4th, 2019 at 2:00 pm in Greenlawn Funeral Home South 441 West Battlefield Springfield, Missouri 65807.
