Sherin Kay Vest was a beloved grandmother, mother, sister and daughter during her incredible 81 years of life.  She passed away on Saturday, Apr 22, 2023, after a long battle of dementia.

Sherin was born on November 11, 1941, to Henry and Jossie Moore in Rogersville, Missouri.

Remembered for her loving nature and playfulness, Sherin was loved and adored by many.  Valuing time with her family the most, her two children Max and Tammy and her grandchildren were her “Pride and Joys.”

Sherin was brilliantly creative and independent.  She enjoyed quilting, ceramics, bowling, fishing and researching family genealogy.  In addition to spending time with her family you could often find Sherin outside planting and pruning her beautiful flowers.

Sherin was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Josie Moore; her son Max Swain; brothers, Vernon Moore, Donald Moore and Jim Moore and sister Joann Hotelling.

She is survived by her sister Carolyn Turner; her sister-in-law Connie Moore; her daughter Tammy and husband Clifford Vich; daughter-in-law Kim Swain, granddaughter Kelia and husband Chris Anderson; grandson Jayden Swain; great grandchildren Elyssa Anderson, Willow Swain, Max Swain and many cousins, nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.

Services will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home North on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 2:00 pm. Burial will be Greenlawn Memorial Gardens following the service.
