“Ted” Cook 88,Willard passed away Sunday, in his home, after a long illness. He was born in Greene County, January 29, 1923 to the late William Enos and Melissa Pearl Cook. He and Beatrice Bryan were married December 11, 1941 and together they raised three children.
Mr. Cook was a proud W.W.II Army veteran , and retired from the Lily Tulip Corp. in 1987. He was saved and baptized in 1959, and was a long-time member of Rose Hill Baptist Church.
“Ted” was preceded in death by his son; Eugene “Gene” Cook, in 1972. He was also preceded in death by his six brothers: Leonard, William Clifford, Raymond Enos, Efton, Earl, and Aubrey, and by a sister: Mae.
Survivors include his devoted wife; Bea, of the home, a son Harold Dee and his wife Trula, of Rogersville, and a daughter; Genevive Cook of Springfield, a brother;Donald, and three sisters; Nona Blevins, Highlandville, Mo., Velma Young; Ash Grove, and Lola Gardner; Walnut Grove, Mo. as well as many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. in Rose Hill Baptist Church, near Willard, with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
