Deacon Dan Vaughn left a message on January 18, 2021:
I am sorry to learn of the passing of Shirley. I recall how she was so kind to my mother, Betty, when my mom became a resident at Morningside. Betty passed away in October 2019 but during here three years at Morningside she felt the outpouring of love and friendship from Shirley. May Shirley rest in peace in God's heavenly kingdom.

Prayers to the family and friends of Ms. Shirley. Please know that I loved her dearly. She was like a MiMi to me, and I will never forget her. We had many talks, and her advise was very much needed. It was a pleasure to be a part of her care for three years. There were times when we sure did butt heads, but by the next day there were plenty of hugs, I am sorry, and I love you. R.I.P Ms. Shirley November 20th will always be cherished in my mind and heart.
