Shirley Jean Hubbell (Smith) danced into the world on January 28, 1942. The second child of Denzell and Violet Smith, preceding her in death, Shirley valued her family with a love beyond measure. Heaven’s gates welcomed Shirley on February 22, 2015. Her spirited character lives on in her three children; Sharla Hubbell, Shana Hubbell, Declan Hubbell (Trish) and grandson Preston. Siblings; Charlotte Osborne (Dennis) and Denny Smith (Barbara) will celebrate their beautiful sister as long as they breathe. An accomplished business woman, champion bowler, and Queen; Shirley inspired others to be daring. Unquestionably humble yet far from meek, she was everyone’s best friend.
A memorial visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, February 27, 2015 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East 3540 East Seminole Springfield, Missouri.
In honor of Shirley’s life-long passion for animals the family requests donations be made to the Killuminati Foundation (projectpuppy.org) in lieu of flowers.
