Shirley Jean Krebs,83, Springfield, MO. passed away May 12, 2021 after a long illness. She was born in Springfield, MO. on January 26, 1938, to Hugh and Dorothy (Rogers) Bass. A homemaker, she was a member of the Elwood Assembly of God Church. Shirley loved going to Branson, MO. country music shows and eating out with her family and friends. She was known for being a very, very good cook, and enjoyed making everyone feel welcome.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frank Krebs, her great-grand-daughter: Keila, her brother: Norman Bass and her sister: Doris Marsh. Shirley is survived by her two daughters: Debbie Montgomery and her husband, Rob, and Cindy Bare, her son: Scott Krebs, her grandchildren: Robby, Amy, John, Tammy, Chris and Brandon along with several step and great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters: Sherry Hubbard and her husband, Larry and Carol Johanssen and her husband, Steve.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2021, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. No viewing or visitation is planned.
