Shirley Louise Atkinson, age 79, of Springfield, Mo. passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Willard Care Center. She was born June 6, 1935 in Springfield, MO to Elvin and Iva (Stokes) Peine. Shirley Louise Atkinson, age 79, of Springfield, Mo. passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Willard Care Center. She was born June 6, 1935 in Springfield, MO to Elvin and Iva (Stokes) Peine. She attended Hillside Baptist Church. Shirley was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters, and one daughter Janie Louise Brink.
Shirley is survived by two sons: Don Brink Jr. (Tracey) Willard, MO and Thomas Wayne Brink (John) state of MA. one daughter: Jeannie Marie Barrett, Bois’ Arc, MO, a sister: Carol Sue Woods, state of TX. a brothe-in-law: Ronald Lee Hubbell, 3-grandchildren: Melody, Amber, and Charlie and one-great-grandchild: Roin, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Willard Care Center for their compassion and care.
Graveside Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, 2014 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, no visitation is planed.
