Sondra R McAdams, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister, peacefully passed away at Spring Valley Health & Rehabilitation Center Springfield, MO, on September 24, 2024. Born in Kansas City, KS on September 8, 1965, to Walter Luther and Carolyn Sue (Stevenson) Newton, Sondra was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to creating a warm and loving home for her family.

Sondra is preceded in death by her brother Carlon Newton.

She is survived by her parents Carolyn and Walter Newton, her daughters: Samantha Collinsworth and Mallory Bartlett, her sons Garrett Krumm and Benjamin Clark; four grandchildren: Isabella, Michael, Eleanor, and Matthias; her husband Cary McAdams; her sisters Juanita Exceen and Martha Jackson; a half-sister Dana Small; and a host of other loving family and friends.

A compassionate and caring soul, Sondra will be remembered for her kind heart, selflessness, and unwavering love for her family. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished her.  She adored all of her grandchildren.  She loved the outdoors and being in and taking pictures of nature.

According to Sondra’s wishes her body will be cremated.
