Stanaleen Hicks, age 74, of Willard, MO passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Cox Medical Center South. She was born February 14, 1941, in Greenfield, MO to Stanley and Ruby ( Royston) Helton. She was a member of Kings Way Freewill Baptist Church. She was a Licensed Beautician and an in home Daycare Provider and Homemaker. She spent countless hours praying and picking out cards for her church family members. She would always happily put the needs of her children and grandchildren, before her own.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two grandchildren: Matthew and John Hicks and a brother Thomas Helton. She is survived by her husband; Joe Hicks, a son: Jerry Todd Hicks, and his wife: Sheila, of Marshfield, MO and their son Brandon, her daughters: Melinda Jean Carroll, her husband Troy, their children: Shelby and his wife Katie, Javon, Nevaeh, Aaron, and Eric, all of Willard, MO, Anita Joleen Conner, her husband Jonathan, their children: Joanne and Darren Banfield, and Charlotte Rose Conner, all of Springfield, MO and Stana Kelley and her husband, Martin of Springfield, MO two brothers: Gail Helton and wife Sharon, of Willard, MO and Darrell Helton and wife Glenda, of Conway, MO two sisters: Donna Hicks of Springfield, MO, Sherry Eden and her husband Mike, of Springfield, MO She is also survived by many loving friends and church family.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2015 in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will be held in Yeakley Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home. Inlieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Kings Way Building Fund.
