He was born on October 26, 1947 at Mason City, Iowa the son of William L. and Ruth E. Bergstrom Dahl. He was a retired truck driver.
Survivors are his father: William Dahl of Kanawha, Iowa. Two children: Leslie Dahl of Chillicothe, Missouri and Thomas Dahl of Charlotte, Michigan.
