It is indeed tragic, when we are losing so many of those who influenced us in one way or another. From one fellow Steven to another, I enjoyed some of those guitar riffs on the Black Witchery albums… From all of us here at Vibrations Of Doom Magazine, we salute our fallen brother… May you find peace and fulfillment in your next life…

We had a lot of good times in our Central days. I’ll never forget you dancing in your cap and gown graduation to Don’t Stand by the Police. And a lot of other good times I’ll never forget. You’will be missed. Say hi to Jeff for me.

Although, I personally have never met Steve. He was a dear friend to my friend Justin. Seeing this story and how he touched so many people, really touched me. My deepest condolences to Steve’s family & all that love him. We know he’s up there now with a lot of greats & shredding his guitar ??

My condolences. I am so very sorry for the loss of Steve. Revelation 21:4 tells us what God will soon do: “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Steve, without you, I wouldn’t be the guitarist I am today. So many years ago, you taught me much about playing, performing, getting a killer sound, and you turned me onto a wealth of metal. You pushing me to play in a band changed my life course forever and led to some of the most rewarding moments and memories in my life. You are an immortal embodiment of the spirit of heavy metal and a legend. May you dream a thousand morbid dreams…
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Steve was a very sweet person. I meet him when he was installing mini blinds and the company store there supplies at the property I was working for in Lake Mary, Fl. Thoughts and prayers got out to all of Steve’s family.

Steve had a profound influence on me at a very early age to pick up a guitar. Without question, his music and legacy will live on within me always. He will be missed by many the world over. Respect.
