Steven Wayne Worley, age 58, of Niangua, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at home. He was born October 14, 1952, in Springfield, MO, to Charles and Ruth (Freeman) Worley. He was a lifetime member of the N.R.A., and a member of the Eckankar religion. Steven served his country in the United States Marine Corps, and United States Army for nineteen years, serving during Dessert Storm and Vietnam, he was highly decorated during his time of military service. He liked to spend time hunting and fishing, and spending time in the outdoors, but Steven’s greatest love was spending time with his family.
One son, Charles Allen Worley and one sister, Pamela Worley, preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife Eva Pauline Worley of Niangua, MO; three children Jerry Worley of Niangua, MO, Travis Worley and wife Cristina of Springfield MO, and Tina Burr and husband Joseph of Rogersville, MO; twelve grandchildren; his parents, Charles and Ruth Worley of Longlane MO; one brother, Chuck Worley of Republic; one sister, Regina Reynolds of Springfield; and a host of freinds and family.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m., Friday, August 12, 2011 in Greenlawn North Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Liberty Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri.
