Susan Kay Rogers, 72, of Springfield, passed away Friday September 11, 2020 in Springfield.
Sue was born December 3rd in Springfield, Missouri to Elvin and Mary Hunt. Sue was a longtime resident of Springfield where she spent her time taking care of her family and working a variety of different jobs. She spent time working at Meller’s Photo Lab, Zenith, Dan’s Lounge, and delivering pharmaceuticals. She was a dedicated wife, mother and she was always humble and kind with a gentle spirit. To know Sue was to love her as she never met a stranger and could carry on conversation with anyone she met.
Sue married Larry Rogers, February 14th, 1968, who precedes her in death. She is also preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter Christy Michelle Rogers. She is survived by her son Jay Rogers and his wife Kim of Nixa and their 2 children Alayna and Logan. Her brother George Hunt and his wife Renee, and their two children Seth and Sydney.
Graveside services for Sue will be at 2pm, Wednesday, September 16th at Greenlawn North Cemetery.
