Terri Linn Gilliland High, 59, left her earthy body February 14th 2013 from pancreatic cancer and other health issues she had. She walked right into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Terri is survived by her Husband Kenneth, Daughter Abigail and Son Benjamin of the home, Sons Roger Sellman and Matthew Sellman of Springfield, Granddaughter Brooke Sellman of Kansas City, Grandson Zion Howard Sellman, Mother Jean McNeil of Warrensburg, Brothers Patrick Gilliland of Florida and Les Gilliland of Australia, Sisters Tina Gilliland Keith of Warrensburg, Mary Gilliland Donaldson of New Jersey, and Paula Gilliland of New Jersey, Step-brothers Randy Wiles of Kansas and Bill Wiles of Iowa, Nephew Chris Keith, Nieces Paige Donaldson and Carey Keith, Great Nephew Cy Keith, numerous Cousins and Friends.
Terri was predeceased by both of her Grandparents William B and Erma Gilliland and Robert and Violet Ford Gross, Father Paul A Gilliland and Step-Mother Joan Prather Wiles Gilliland, Uncle Roscoe and Aunt Juanita Gilliland, Aunt Greta Gilliland Riley, and Cousins Bill Riley and William Mason Gilliland.
Terri attended Truman High School, in Independence, MO, and graduated Magna cum laude from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Belton, TX. She also attended the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. She had a life long love of learning. She home schooled Abi and Ben throughout their elementary and high school years. She belonged to Galloway Baptist Church and loved her Church Family and Pastor’s family. She was highly involved in community service and loved helping those in need.
A celebration Service will be held Tuesday February 19th 2013 at Galloway Baptist church at 7pm
In lieu of flowers, it was Terri’s request that donations be made at The Gideons, Grand Oak Mission in Springfield, or 88.3 The Wind FM Radio station.
