Terry Lee Hill, 78, of Republic, MO, passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2026, surrounded by family, following a sudden and aggressive cancer diagnosis.
Terry was born on February 7, 1948, to Carl and Mona Hill of Buffalo, MO, he was the youngest of their four boys. After graduating from Fair Grove High School, Terry honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Upon returning home, he continued his education and graduated from Drury University. Terry went on to build a highly successful career in distribution and logistics, where he was also known for mentoring others and helping them achieve their professional goals.
Outside of his career and after retiring Terry took pleasure in gardening and tending to his chickens. However, his absolute favorite pastime was spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his children, Carla, and Eric (Kim); his six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and was eagerly anticipating the birth of his newest great grandson, due this November. He also leaves behind a close-knit brotherhood of friends whom he truly considered to be his family.
