It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Theda Bennett, a devoted wife, dedicated missionary, and beloved friend. Theda began her journey on May 17, 1946, in Helena, Arkansas, and peacefully entered into rest on January 23, 2026, in Springfield, Missouri.
A graduate of Central High School in Helena, Theda’s passion for service led her to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Ministry. This education served as the cornerstone of her lifelong mission work, where her unwavering faith and compassionate spirit touched countless lives.
Theda’s legacy of love is carried on by her devoted husband, Jim Bennett, her partner in both life and faith. Together, they built a home defined by warmth, kindness, and an open door. She is also survived by their three sons: David, Chris, and Ben, as well as many other family members and friends.
The family will gather for a graveside service at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens on January 29, 2026, to lay Theda to rest in a place of peace and remembrance.
While we mourn her absence, we celebrate a life lived with profound purpose. Theda will be deeply missed, but her light remains in the many souls she inspired.
