Trish Vincent left a message on February 15, 2024:
Thelma was always a wealth of knowledge and she knew about everything in Republican politics in Greene County. I had the pleasure of working with her for a number of years in the political arena. She always had stories to share about Cliff her beloved grandson. My prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

I first met Thelma over 40 years ago, she had the knack of almost always choosing the winning horse in a political contest. Because of her efforts and connections she was able to give me experiences that I never could have imagined. Later in life we became friends outside of the political world. I treasure the memories of our talks when we were blunt with each other! My heart if full of gratitude for having been Thelma's friend. Rest well, you deserve it.

We honor the memory of a woman who served others as a mother, teacher, volunteer, community leader and political powerhouse. She was a true and loyal friend that could always be counted on for honest, straightforward advice. I already miss her. Our hearts go out to the entire family. You were what she talked about most. We will hold you all in our hearts and our prayers at this time.
