Thomas (Tom) Freeman Eischen, age 80, of Hollister, MO, passed away on April 14, 2026, peacefully at home after a brief illness. Born on April 9, 1946, in Cherokee, IA to Freeman and Bernice (Piggot) Eischen. He enjoyed farming, hunting, and taking care of animals.  Tom had different occupations.  He was a delivery driver for Wells Blue Bunny and Hy-Vee in Iowa. He also helped on the family farm.  He moved to Hollister, MO in 1994 and worked at Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede taking care of the animals that performed in the show. He also worked at the Taney County Correction Center until retirement.

He was united in marriage with Linda Dorr on June 20, 1970.  Linda passed away on October 27, 1991.  He was united in marriage with Sally Binggeli on October 11, 2008.

He is survived by his wife Sally Eischen, and her daughters Shyrle Neill (Barry), Portland, OR, Barbara Binggeli, Lake Ozark, MO, and Jenette Binggeli (Richard Moore), Belen, NM, his daughters Jackie Johnson (Jaye), Marcus, IA and Barb Tometich (Brent), Etna, WY and grandson Hunter Johnson, Sioux City, IA. He is also survived by his sister Maxine Rasmus, Kansas City MO, and his nieces Mary Ann McCormick (Buster) and Michelle Girarden, sister-in-law Sandra Merkel (Pat), Chelsea, MI and niece Martha Grubaugh (Jason), Grass Lake, MI.

He was preceded in death by his wife Linda (Dorr) Eischen, his parents Freeman and Bernice Eischen, his niece Linda Lujan, his in laws Dale and Dorthy (Seggerman) Dorr.

There will be visitation at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Branson, MO on Monday, April 20^th at 9:00am.  The funeral will follow the visitation at 10:00am. Burial will be at a later date in Cherokee, IA.
