Thomas Glen Sears, Jr., 80, of Springfield, MO passed away Saturday June 6, 2015. Tom was born at home in Kansas City, MO to Thomas and Ethel Sears. He was a journeyman electrician most of his life in Missouri and Colorado. Tom was a recovered alcoholic in AA with 29 plus years sober. He was proud to be actively involved in service. Plus Tom was a very devout family man, a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one aunt and his grandparents; plus one grandson. Survivors include: his wife Drusilla; children: Malinda, Charissa, Tommy, Jimmy, Vince, Jennifer, plus Tom, Gaylynne, and Barry. Also 23 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday June 13, 2015 at 3:00 pm, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. All services will be at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Online condolences may be left at www.greenlawnfuneralhome.com
