Tim was born July 27, 1960 at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, California to Kenneth D. and Velma Knox who proceeded him in death. He departed this life on December 11, 2014, after a brief illness. Survivors include his son John Knox and daughter Elizabeth Knox both of Rogersville, Mo., two brothers Kenneth A. Knox (and his wife Mona) of Trimble Mo., and Steve Knox of Mountain Grove, Mo. and many special uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Tim was an accomplished woodworker for many years prior to becoming an educator at MSU which was a source of great pride for him, and most recently worked full time in the technical writing field. In addition to teaching he enjoyed spending time with his children, fishing and telling stories to his abundance of friends and family. He will be missed by all who knew him. No services are scheduled at this time.
