Timothy Joseph Williamson, age 42, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 1, 2022l. He was born to Gregory Steven Williamson and Tina Denise (Butts) Williamson on November 18, 1979, in Springfield. Timothy was raised in Springfield and attended Hillcrest High School. He was blessed with two children, Joey and Kendra Williamson, of Brighton.
At a young age, Timothy became obsessed with motorcycles. His love of motorcycles would eventually lead him to competitive motocross racing. Timothy became a very accomplished competitor on a variety motocross courses. Throughout his youth, Timothy earned numerous trophies and awards. As an adult, Timothy continued to enjoy motorcycling and taking countless rides on the open road. Timothy’s other hobbies included restoring old cars, carpentry, drawing, and turning his personal art into one-of-a-kind tattoos. He was also known for being a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan. Nothing was more important, however, than spending quality time with his family and friends, most importantly, his two children.
Timothy was preceded in death by his father, Gregory Williamson, and his grandparents, Lester Williamson, Roy Butts, and Iva Butts. He is survived by two children, Joey and Kendra Williamson; mother, Tina Williamson; brother, Jordan Williamson; sister, Siri Wampler; and grandmother, Florene Williamson. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. All of whom will deeply miss his loving nature, his generosity, and his random acts of kindness.
Timothy’s family is in the process of planning a private memorial service to celebrate his life and legacy. No other details are available at this time.
