Tommy Lynn Ginger, age 64, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away at Woodland Manor on January 12, 2021. He was born in Springfield on February 28, 1956, to Tom and Shirley Ginger. He graduated from Kickapoo High School in Springfield.
Tommy loved the Lord and spending time reading his Bible, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, he loved listening to music, he had great interest in watching the History Channel as well as the Discovery Channel, and Tommy loved fishing and proudly displayed his biggest catch. He did not drive but in his younger years he loved riding the bus to different destinations and talking with people of all walks of life. He never met a stranger.
He is survived by his parents Tom and Shirley Ginger; brother, Terry Ginger (wife Kim); sisters, Sandy Rude (husband Jonathan) and Shelly Wilson (husband Dwayne); and nieces and nephews, Sean and Jordon Bettlach, Cory Locke, Chelsi and Justin McDonald.
The graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Due to COVID concerns, the services will be limited to parents and siblings only for everyone’s safety.
