Tressa Ann (Baker) Rouch, 59, of Springfield, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 31, 2016. She was born in Devens, MA on January 4, 1957. Tressa graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School in KY in 1975 and graduated from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO in 1979.
Tressa married Charles Richard Rouch on January 1, 2003 in Nashville, TN. They are members of Capital City Baptist Church, Columbia, SC. She served with her husband as a Baptist Missionary in Zambia, Africa for 13 years where she focused on organizing, teaching, and leading Women’s and Children’s Ministries.
Tressa was preceded in death by her father, James Donald Baker. She is survived by her husband Charles; her children, Taylor Michelle Rouch, Jeremy (Jamie) Rouch, Becky (Steve) Slezak, Rachel (Bryan) Hunt; mother, Betty Dell Baker; sisters, Donna Baker and Linda Austin; seven grandchildren; nephew Adam Lane, niece Hannah Austin, and other relatives and friends. A celebration of her life and service to the Lord will be held in Cherry Street Baptist Church on June 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
