Troy Allen Goins, age 53, of Springfield, MO., passed away Thursday, September 29, 2011. He was born February 28, 1958, in Springfield, MO. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Reserves. He was a member of the Teamsters Local Union.
Troy was preceded in death by his mother and step-father; Donna and Nelson Rima. Troy is survived by his wife Kimberly Ann Coday-Goins, his daughters; Tiffany Goins-Coy and her husband James, and Cortnie Goins, as well as his brothers and sisters; Rick Goins, Ron Goins, Patsy Allen, Floretta Manuel, Connie Johnson, Kay Deckard, Wanda Blackburn, Robbin Allen, Sandy Lumley and David Rima. He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law Jerry and Helen Coday and sister-in-law, Kelly and her daughter Whitney, as well as many-many nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside services will be Sunday afternoon at 2:00 PM in Sparta IOOF Cemetery, with Rev. Garland McGath officiating. Visitation will be held Saturdday evening from 5-7 PM in Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
