Veanna Jo Deckard, age 65, of Springfield, MO, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Springfield Rehabilitation and Health Care. She was born June 17, 1946, in Ava, MO, to Howard and Lawanda (Forschee) Hodges.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Stonie Deckard.
She is survived by her children, Owen Teschner, of Sindelfingen, Bw Germany, Dennis Robert Chambers, Gean Deckard, Gary Deckard, Richard Deckard, and Scott Deckard, all of Springfield, Mo.,two sisters Linda Malcom from Shelley,Idaho and Claudia Heidkamp from Idaho Falls, Idaho; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at at 2:30 p.m. at Greenlawn North Funeral Home, Tuesday, December 13, 2011, with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
