Velma Earlene Deeds, 81, of Springfield, MO passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015.
Earlene was born February 13, 1934 in Miller, MO to Boyd and May Riley. She worked at Biederman’s, Western Electric and Commerce Bank before retiring in 1993.
Earlene married Bob Deeds June 26, 1959 who precedes her in death. She is also preceded by her parents, siblings; Elmer Riley, Wanda McMahon, Frieda Higgins and Lena Lester.
She is survived by her son Mark Deeds and his wife Sherry, two grandchildren; Austin Deeds and Lauren Silva; two nephews Larry Higgins and wife Cindy, Don Deeds and wife Vickie and a niece Sherry Higgins. She is also survived by a host of other family and friends.
Services for Earlene will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 17, 2015 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. before the service.
