Vera Marie Andrews, 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Colonial Springs Health Care. She was born January 12, 1923 in Pomona, KS; she was married to Lester Wayne Andrews on November 19, 1955. She graduated with a teaching degree from Drury University and retired from Willard Public schools after 12 years of teaching. Preceding her in death were her parents Helen and Elton Dailey; husband, Lester Wayne Andrews; sister, Joyce Hogan; brother, Marion Dailey, and step-son, Larry Andrews. Survivors include sons, Richard Andrews and James Andrews; daughter-in-law, Carol Andrews; sister, Jean Wade; sister-in-law Ellen Dailey; grandchildren, Melissa and Bruce Farris, Marlissa Thompson, Marlene Coakley, Mindy Andrews, Tanya and Curtis Barnett, Crystal Andrews, Richard and Renee Andrews, Christopher and Stephanie Moser, Charlotte Moser, Matthew and Chelayne Andrews, Rhianna Andrews. Great grandchildren, Ethan Coy, August Thompson, Devon and Dyllon Andrews, Timberlyn and Tyler Barnett, Aaron and Zander Andrews,Noah Haggard, Tayton and Elyana Andrews, Alana and Julia Moser, Leah and Sierra Riggs, and Jaelyn Andrews. Vera had many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will be at 10 am preceeding the service at 11 am Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Greenlawn North, Springfield, MO. Vera will be laid to rest in Mt. Comfort Cemetery.
