It is with both sorrow and celebration that we announce the passing of Vickie Jean Fine, who left this world on February 22, 2026, at the age of 71. Living in Urbana, MO, Vickie dedicated her career to serving others as a cashier in the retail convenience store, where her warmth and friendly demeanor brought smiles to countless customers.
Vickie was full of life, a good mix of feisty and brutal honesty, to know her was to love her! She loved sewing, cooking, going to auctions, fishing and being outdoors around water with her drinks. Vickie’s motto was: “It is what it is!”
Vickie was preceded in death by her Mom and Dad: Charlie and Marjorie Clark, and her father Eugene Gruenewald; and a nephew Michael O’Mara.
Vickie will be lovingly remembered by her best friend Floyd Arthur, Sr. of the home; her children: Shelly Arnall (Jason) of Willard, MO, Tara Hagemann of Springfield, MO, Ami Arthur (James) of Urbana, MO, Heather Hankins of Fallbrook, CA, and Holden “Chris” Hankins of Willard, MO; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; two brothers: Robert Gruenewald of Wentzville, MO, and Donald Clark (Debra) of Bois D’ Arc, MO, one sister Linda Felton of Ash Grove, MO; Red-headed step-child Jennifer Hetherington of Peculiar, MO; Special Friend Vondi Arthur of Tunas, MO; as well as many other relatives and friends who will carry forward her legacy of love, compassion, and strength. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on February 25, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Pitts Chapel. This time will offer a space for all who knew Vickie to come together, share stories, and reflect on the joy she brought into their lives. We invite all who knew and adored Vickie to join us in remembering her remarkable life, filled with laughter, love, and light, as we come together to celebrate the wonderful woman she was.
