Vincent Morgan Woods, was born, April 22, 1943, near Bolivar, Missouri to Fennie Morgan Woods and Selma Christine (Miles) Woods. He died September 20, 2026 in Springfield, Missouri.

He was saved in a revival at Center Point Missionary Baptist Church where he remained a member until his death.

Vincent graduated from Bolivar High School in 1961 and joined the United States Navy soon afterwards and spent 20 years, retiring in 1981. He served in various places in the United States and spent some time in other countries.

He married Connie Jean Ross on May 25, 1966 and they had their 60^th Anniversary in May. To this union one son was born, Paul Carter Woods on October 6, 1971.

Vincent attended Vo-tec at Louisburg, Missouri. He was also a rural mail carrier for 19 years. He liked to hunt and fish. He also had a fruit orchard and garden that he enjoyed.

He was preceded in death by his parents , a sister, Nadine (Woods) Allen and brother- in- law  Leonard Allen, and others.

He is survived by his wife Connie Woods, son Paul Woods, daughter-in-law Christina Woods and two granddaughters, Sarah Woods and Rachel Woods.

Visitation for Vincent Woods will be held at Pitts Chapel Bolivar, MO from 1:00 PM – 2:00PM on Friday, September 25, 2026, with the funeral service following at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery Bolivar, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Center Point Missionary Baptist Church, 3468 S. Hwy. PP Flemington, MO 65650.
