Virgia Lee Eagon, 90, Springfield, MO. passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023, after a short illness. She was born in Lebanon, MO. on February 14, 1933, to Waldridge and Dessie (Moore) Jones. She was a retired homemaker, who loved her family, and loved fishing, and traveling. She also loved cooking and preparing food for her family for holiday meals and going to Craft Festivals. She loved her Lord and was a member of the Baptist faith.
Virgia was preceded in death by her parents, two grandsons, and three brothers. She is survived by her husband, Curtis Ray Eagon, her children: Steven Butcher and his wife, Deborah, Gary Butcher and his wife, Karen and Deborah Rodney and her husband, Daniel, six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren, and two sisters: Virginia Wood and Vernia Rizzo.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2023, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, June 1, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home
