Virgil L. Campbell, 83, born February 22, 1927 in Webster County to the late James Raymond and Lura Cornelison Campbell, died Wednesday, November 10, 2010.
He is survived by siblings Knial R. Campbell and Carolyn Sue Montgomery both of Springfield.
Virgil was an Army Veteran of World War II, a graduate of Southwest Missouri State College and a retired US Postal Service Supervisor. His postal service was performed at the Airport Mail Facility in San Francisco, CA.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am at Pembina Cemetery in Christian County on Monday, November 15, 2010 under the direction of Greenlawn South Funeral Home.
