Virginia E. Keen, age 91, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 25, 2009. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Gene; her sister, Joann Putney; along with many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her two children, Bobby Gene and Vicky; and her sister, Thelma Richter. She retired from the Springfield School System. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 27, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, in Ash Grove Cemetery. We are grateful to Hospice, Seasons and Mt. Carmel Methodist Church for their kind support.
