Vivian Ryan,95, was born February 8,1917 in Springfield, Missouri, to Bessie (Abbott) and Alec Fugate. She passed away on August 31, 2012.
Vivian Graduated from Fair Grove High School and attended Draughons Business College in Springfield, Missouri. She married Roy Lee Weber in June, 1936. They had two Daughters, Sherrill and Patricia. Roy passed away in January 1961. Vivian married Earl Ryan in August, 1964.
Vivian worked for Bonar Chiropractic Clinic for several years.
Vivian enjoyed attending several organizations. She was past Worthy Matron of Queen City Chapter 226, Order of Eastern Star;past Worthy Royal Matron and Grand Crown Bearer of Order of The Amaranth; past High Priestess of Pleides Shrine No. 1 of the White Shrine of Jerusalem and member of The Social Order of the Beauceant. She was a member of the Antioch United Methodist Church. Vivian was a talented Knitter and seamstress.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and her husbands. She is survived by her daughters, Sherrill Weber and Patricia and her husband,Ralph Edward Smith, of Springfield, MO. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Melanie Smith and her partner Pauline Macdonald, St. Petersburg, FL; Todd Smith and wife, Tracy, Fair Grove, MO; sCOTT smith and wife DeNeil, Sarcoxie, MO; Johnnie Nichols and wife Kimberley, Middletwon, IN; April Colling and husband William, Rio Rancho, NM; and Brent Nichols and wife Mona, Nokesville, VA; eight great- grandchildren and two great great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 3, 2012 at Greenlawn North Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Tuesday, September 4, at 11:00 a.m. at Greeenlawn Memorial Gardens.
