W. Powell Stover died March 25, 2011 at 101 years of age. A longtime resident of Springfield, he was born in Wheatland, Mo., in 1909. He died in his home with his wife, Eurith, at his side. He is also survived by son, Charles P. Stover and his wife Doria, of Ridgefield, Ct.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lenore of Kansas.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 1, 2011, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 A.M. prior to the service. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Springfield.
