Wanda Marie Morrison 84, Springfield, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011 in Mercy Villa. She Was born April 26, 1927, in Narka, Kansas to John and Nola (Thomas) Harris. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. She retired from the Rawlings Manufacturing Company, in Ava, MO.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, sister Billie Schmidt, brother Edwin Harris,
a son John Morrison, her husband Arthur Charles Morrison, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Wanda is survived by her daughters; Charlene Phillips and Chalanda Johnson both of Springfield; her sons, David Morrison of Ava, MO. and Ernest Morrison of Texas.She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 26, 2011 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North with Pastor Fred Toomey officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery near Oldfield, MO.Visitation will be Thursday evening 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
