Mrs. Wanda Huse, age 65 of Morrisville, MO, formerly of Cedaredge, CO, passed away Sunday, July 04, 2010, in the Citizens Memorial Hospital Bolivar, MO, following a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 29, 1945, in Hobart, OK, to Thomas Windell and Opal (Chism) Blanscet. She was united in marriage to Richard Huse April 30, 1965, and to this union two daughters were born. She is of the Southern Baptist faith.
She loved the mountains of Colorado, and the coastline of Maine. She loved to cook, was an avid reader and creative writer, and enjoyed making jewelry.
Her parents; and a nephew Judd Blanscet precede her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years Richard of the home; two daughters: Amy Mitchell and her husband Robert of Corinth, KY, and Angela Huse of Morrisville, MO; two brothers: Donald Blanscet and his wife Norma of Grand Junction, CO, and Dwaine Blanscet and his wife Melissa of Fulshear, TX; a sister Emily Blanscet and Rick Jones of Wetmore, KS; two nieces: Tai Jackson of TX, and Pam Schaef of CO; and her mother in-law Constance Cooper of Dover, NH; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, July 8, 2010, in the Morrisville Cemetery with Chaplain Harold Williams officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2010, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM in the funeral home. Friends and family may sign a guest book or send private condolences at: www.greenlawnfuneralhome.com.
