Wandah Marie Morris, age 96, of Springfield, MO, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016. She was born July 31, 1919, in Springfield, MO, to Ray and Nomah (Stokes) Tharp. She was a member of the Baptist faith. She owned and operator of Wandah’s Draperies in Springfield for 45 years. She loved to fish and loved spending time teaching her grandkids to fish.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands; Loren Burns and Omer Morris and her sons; Leonard Ray Burns and Lloyd Eugene Burns. She is survived by four daughters; Linda Handley; Lorene Noennig; Mary Wise, and Brenda Morris, 12-grandchildren; 11-great-grandchildren; 10-great-great-grandchildren and 2-great-great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at Brighton Cemetery, Brighton, MO. In Lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Association Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO.
