Angels came to say you’re going home, no more suffering. Wayne Highley was born May 29, 1939 and passed June 24, 2022.
He was preceded by his parents, Alvin and Byrdie Highley; sister, Melba Wiley; grandson, Jeff Wester; and great grandson, Eren Highley.
Wayne is survived by the love of his life, Barbara Highley; daughter, Bridget Specone; sons, Duane Highley (Lisa) of Colorado, Gary Highley (Sara) of Oklahoma, Jeff Highley (Marianne) of Colorado, Shannon Brake (Amy) of South Carolina; 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and Raven, his cat.
Visitation will be held July 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m at Trinity Presbyterian Church. Service follows at 12:00 p.m. 1900 E Barataria St, Springfield, MO .
