Whitney Nicole Malloy, age 36, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away April 26, 2022, at Select Specialty Hospital. She was born on November 17, 1985, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She graduated from Glendale in 2004, attended Ozarks Technical College 2007-2015, and worked at Lambert’s Cafe as a server, passer, cook, cashier, name taker, and in the gift shop. Her interests included listening to music, watching movies, softball when she was a teenager, and hanging out with her mother, sister, and friends.
Whitney is preceded in death by her Maternal Grandpa Dr. Dale Bruch, Step Grandpa and Grandmother Gary and Georgeanna McDowell, Paternal Grandfather Marvin Malloy, Uncle Marty Malloy, Aunt Nancy Malloy, Step Uncle Clay McDowell. She is survived by her Father David Malloy (step-mom Mary Jo), Mother Delia McDowell (step-dad Eric McDowell), Brother Allen Malloy, Sisters Tiffany Mosbey (husband Cody Mosbey), Kayla Shank, Courtney Shank, Nieces and Nephews Caleb Grogan, Payton Savat, Aubrey Jarrell, and numerous cousins.
The family ask that only green plants, no flowers, be donated, or that donations be made to the United Spinal Association.
