Wilda Lea Leeson, age 84, of Branson, MO, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Kansas City Hospice, Kansas City, Mo. She was born November 29, 1926, in Springfield, Mo, to James and Malinda (Williamson) Iseminger. Wilda was married to her beloved husband, Clay Leeson for 61 years. She enjoyed bowling, volunteering at Skaggs with the “Pink Ladies”, also in the gift shop at Skaggs, she enjoyed helping at VFW Bingo night, and taking care of her special beagle, Gini.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Carol Shaw; a brother, Ralph Iseminger; and a son, Dennis Leeson.
She is survived by two sons, Brad Leeson and wife Vicky of Kansas City, Ks, and John Leeson of Palm Bay, Fl; a brother, Gene Iseminger, of Forsyth, Mo; a brother-in-law, Ralph Leeson of Springfield, Mo; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 pm, Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO. Burial will be held in Bellview Cemetery. Visitation will be held before the service from 2 pm to 3 pm. Online condolences may be made at www.greenlawnfuneralhome.com.
