With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of William “Bill” Mitchell Allison, a devoted husband, loving father, caring son, and beloved brother. Bill was born on November 9, 1980, in Bastrop, Louisiana, and departed from this world on April 14, 2024, at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri.  Bill was spiritual and had a belief in Christ.

Bill was preceded in death by his father Dan Allison, and an Uncle Glenn Douglas.

Bill dedicated his life to caring for his family, excelling in his role as a homemaker in his own home. His kind and nurturing nature touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. William’s memory will be cherished by his wife Darla Allison, mother Lisa Allison, children: Alyssa, Ryan, Chance, Harlow, and Scout Allison, brother Clint Allison, uncle Mark Douglas, Grandmother Joyce Farmer; as well as many other relatives and friends.

In honoring Bill’s life, a memorial service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024, at Pitts Chapel at 7:00 P.M. with visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m. prior to the service. The community will be invited to pay their respects and celebrate the life of a remarkable individual who brought joy and warmth to those around him.

Bill’s presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit and the memories shared with him will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
