William L Conley, age 85, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on May 10, 2025, at Maranatha Village Retirement Community. William was born to John Conley and Essie Conley on May 20, 1939 in Dodge County, Georgia. William was united in marriage to Vernene Crocker on May 20, 1961, in Plato, Missouri. William proudly served in the United States Army before his honorable discharge.
William was preceded in death by his father, John Conley; mother, Essie Conley; brother, Mac Conley; sister, Shirley; son, Tony . He is survived by his spouse Vernene of Springfield; daughter Patricia of Springfield; son John (Julia) of Bolivar; granddaughter Heather (Justin) of Springfield; grandson Brandon (Sarah) of Michigan.
A visitation for William will be held Wednesday, May 21, 1:00-2:00 pm, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, followed by the service at 2:00 pm. His burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
