William G. Roesing, age 85, passed away on September 9, 2012 surrounded by his family. He was born on June 27, 1927, in Wynndotte County, KS, to Paul and Bessie (Holt) Roesing. Bill served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. After the war he met and later married the love of his life, Helen Peironnet.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a daughter Linda Diane Gray and his second wife, Joyce. He is survived by four children; Barbara (Al) Blevins of Billings, Leslie (Robert) Waldron, of Wilson, N.C., Bill P. Roesing of Republic, Jennifer (Chris) Sopok of Clever, his grandchildren; Paul, Tara, Patrick, Tim, Taylor, Megan, Derek, Jared and Logan, his great-grandchildren Courtney, Ella Rose and little “Miss Kynlee”.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday, September 15, 2012, at 9:00 am, at Riverdale Baptist Church, south of Nixa off of 160, with Pastor Jamie Bilyeu officiating. Services have been entrusted at Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
