John Glasner left a message on April 27, 2024:
Cathy, Lyndal, John , Bill gave me much guidance and most of all friendship and love as a brother. I want to take a moment to flux on my thoughts and remembrance of Bill. Bill had only one true love Jean and only followed by his love he had for his children, Michael, John Thomas, and Cathy. His love was extended to his son-in-law, his grandchildren and his great grandchildren.. His love and contribution and giving to all was exemplified by his sharing he showed:gave to individuals his family members and multiple other people that served and surrounded him Bill also gave to his country and contributed by Joining the United States, Air Force and protecting all of us at an early age, but also into our adult hoods. Cathy, Johnny, Lyndall, All of his grandchildren and great grandchildren can tell stories about how he assisted and guided each in there trials, tribulations and contributions to the world and other family members. Bill was/is a great person, father, brother, and a friend to all. I only hope that I can live up to the standards that Bill as a brother has for me snd others To this day I learned numerous ideas and practical applications from Bill, measure SIX times before cutting anything, clean the copper fittings for cleanliness., and many more. You should calculate and measure everything.twice.or 6 times and recalculate the amount of. Boards needed several times. I have no magic words to comfort his family members other than he was/Is a leader, guider, teacher, father, husband, and multiple friends in all walks of life. With love from John, Sandy, Angela,, Matt , Josie and Allison. I will miss you but you will always be able to speak to me and and ask for your help and and guidance, Love John

I am lost for word for my fondness of Bill, who I cleaned for for numerous shears. I love to hear his stories of the past and especially always look forward to seeing how much he got done working on the train set As I always enjoy seeing the progress. He was a very special man and enjoyed working for him .
