William “Sid” Howard Arwood, 81, Springfield, Missouri departed this life December 14, 2018 at Cox Medical Center South.
He was born November 25, 1937 at Meeker, Oklahoma to Howard Samuel and Lona (Flowers) Arwood.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Effie May Arwood on June 1, 2013.
Sid is survived by his three children, Leslie, MaLinda and William J. Arwood and wife Kristi, one sister Jane Hotsenpiller and husband Don, three step grandchildren, two cousins, Joe Flowers and wife Louise, Donna Flowers Welch and numerous other nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Moore and Karen Hull and staff as well as the Cox South staff for the wonderful care given.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Hazelwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East, 3540 E. Seminole, Springfield, Missouri.
